NOT COVERED
 | Indemnity against criminal charges arising out of breaches of Health & Safety law
(but following my system of work will minimise the chances of prosecution) |
 | Compensation awards to employees (again, following best practice will
minimise the need for compensation to be awarded, and I do carry professional indemnity
insurance to cover these problems) |
WHAT IT COSTS
 | The premium is negotiable and depends on the size and type of business. |
 | The premium for a typical installation in a construction company could be £10
per employee per month for the first year and £8 per employee per month in the second and
third years. |
 | A Golf Club might pay £4.50 per employee per month for over 10 employees. |
 | This is less that 1% of a typical payroll. It should be recouped easily
within the first year by performance improvements. |
 | Premiums are subject to full tax relief. |
 | It is a small price to pay for peace of mind, and could save you thousands! |
