NOT COVERED

Indemnity against criminal charges arising out of breaches of Health & Safety law (but following my system of work will minimise the chances of prosecution)
Compensation awards to employees (again, following best practice will
minimise the need for compensation to be awarded, and I do carry professional indemnity insurance to cover these problems)

WHAT IT COSTS

The premium is negotiable and depends on the size and type of business.
The premium for a typical installation in a construction company could be £10
per employee per month for the first year and £8 per employee per month in the second and third years.
A Golf Club might pay £4.50 per employee per month for over 10 employees.
This is less that 1% of a typical payroll. It should be recouped easily
within the first year by performance improvements.
Premiums are subject to full tax relief.
It is a small price to pay for peace of mind, and could save you thousands!

"Being a small firm should not put you at a disadvantage. Expert advice is always available.
That's why we use David Jackson." John Lynch, Chairman, Northumbrian Roads Ltd
